The DSENT IP Core is a hardware implementation of the Single Edge Nibble Transmission (SENT) protocol controller, fully compliant with the SAE-J2716 standard. SENT is a single-wire communication protocol optimized for transmitting sensor signal values through precise timing between falling signal edges. With DSENT, engineers can implement hardware-based, high-efficiency communication as either a sensor transmitter or a receiver in central units, ensuring seamless, real-time data exchange.
